The sun had begun its decent, casting an orange hue on the land below it. Anahel sat on a small beach just outside Petalburg, watching the waves push and pull themselves against the sand. [break][break]
It was an isolated spot. Most people had already made their ways back to their homes for the afternoon. Anahel preferred this. Staying in the dorms at Rocket HQ made for very little alone time. The ambient sound of waves was a nice change of pace.[break][break]
Gardevoir stood behind the girl, acting like a guardian of sorts. They kept watch for anything that could ruin her trainer's relaxation time.

Gardevoir's body jolted up. [break][break]

Sensing something approaching, she curled her body over Anahel as a wild Noivern dove down over the two.[break][break]

"Gardevoir," the girl said commandingly.[break][break]

The pokèmon didn't hesitate. Gardevoir stood and used Thunderbolt on the attacker. Noivern cried in pain, before ascending upward and healing its self with Roost.[break][break]

"Get them closer!"[break][break]

Gardevoir used Psychic, pulling the dragon down and slamming them on the ground, before finishing them off with Moon Blast.[break][break]

Ana reached into her bag for a pokèball before throwing it at the dazed Noivern. A pokèmon like this will undoubtedly come to good use in the future.
